Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and tintlo (“we”, “us” or “our”) about your use of the website at tintlo.app and any page of ours that links to these Terms (the “Website”), including our waitlist and contact form.

By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

The tintlo desktop app is not yet available. When it launches, it will come with its own terms (covering things like accounts, subscriptions and payments), which you will be asked to accept before using it. Those terms will apply to the app; these Terms apply to the Website.

tintlo is run by its three founders, Md Mujtoba Siraj, Radeen Rahman and Nafis Hossain, and is not yet a registered company. When it is registered, the company will take over our rights and responsibilities under these Terms, and we will update this page. You can reach us at hello@tintlo.app.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to join the waitlist or contact us. If you are younger, you may only do so with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. If you use the Website on behalf of a school, company or other organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.

In short: Joining is free and doesn’t commit you to anything. It also doesn’t guarantee a launch date or a spot in early access.

• Joining the waitlist is free. It is not a purchase, a pre-order or a subscription.
• When you join, we will email you about tintlo’s launch, early access and related news. You can unsubscribe or ask us to remove you at any time.
• We decide who gets early access and when, and we may invite people in stages. Joining does not guarantee access by any particular date, or at all.
• Please give us a real email address that belongs to you. We may remove sign-ups that look fake, automated or abusive.
• Any launch offer we mention will come with its own conditions, which we will tell you about at the time.

In short: The Website describes an app that is still being built. What you see is our plan, and it may change.

• Descriptions of tintlo’s features, supported platforms, plans, usage limits, prices, launch dates and policies (such as cancellation and refunds) describe what we currently plan. They may change before or after launch.
• The interactive demo, screenshots, videos and use-case examples on the Website are illustrations of how tintlo is designed to work. They are not recordings of the finished product, and results in the real app may differ.
• Nothing on the Website is an offer to sell you anything. When tintlo launches, prices and paid plans will be confirmed at checkout and covered by the app’s own terms.
• tintlo will use AI. AI can make mistakes, so explanations should be checked before you rely on them for anything important.

When using the Website, you agree not to:

• break any law, or use the Website for anything fraudulent or harmful
• send spam, or submit forms automatically, in bulk, or with someone else’s details
• try to get around our bot protection, or access any part of the Website you are not authorised to access, including the admin area
• attack, overload, probe or disrupt the Website or the services it runs on
• scrape or copy the Website’s content in bulk, except as allowed in section 8
• send us anything that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, or that infringes someone else’s rights
• pretend to be tintlo, one of our founders, or anyone else

You keep ownership of anything you send us through the contact form or by email. You give us permission to store, read and use it to reply to you and to run tintlo, as described in our Privacy Policy.

If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback about tintlo, you agree that we may use them freely to improve our products, without any obligation to you. We will not publish your name or message without your permission.

Please don’t send us passwords, payment details, or other sensitive or confidential information through the Website.

The Website and everything on it, including the tintlo name, wordmark, app icon, designs, text, illustrations, demos and code, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the Website for personal, non-commercial use.

Journalists, creators and partners may use the logos, icons, images and descriptions from our press kit to write about tintlo, following the guidelines on that page. Otherwise, you may not copy, modify or reuse our content or brand, or use them in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

The Website may link to other websites, such as our founders’ LinkedIn profiles, and relies on third-party services such as Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection) and Resend (email). We are not responsible for other websites’ content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Website, how we use it, and your rights. It forms part of these Terms.

The Website is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate, secure and online, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that the information on it is complete or up to date.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some laws do not allow these warranties to be excluded, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website, even if we were told such damage was possible.

Because the Website is free, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Website or these Terms is limited to USD 50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects the mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

If you break these Terms or the law when using the Website, and that causes a claim against us by someone else, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from it, to the extent permitted by law.

We may block access to the Website, or remove someone from the waitlist, if we reasonably believe they have broken these Terms or are misusing the Website. You can stop using the Website, or ask us to remove you from the waitlist, at any time. Sections 7 to 13 and 16 to 17 continue to apply after you stop using the Website.

We may update these Terms, for example when the app launches or when we register tintlo as a company. We will change the “Last updated” date at the top, and if a change is significant we will make that clear on the Website or email waitlist members. If you keep using the Website after a change, the updated Terms apply to you.

If you have a problem with us, please email hello@tintlo.app first. Most issues can be solved quickly this way, and we will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any dispute that we cannot resolve informally will be handled by the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. However, if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring a claim in your local courts where those laws allow it.

• These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Website.
• If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
• We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, including to the company we register for tintlo. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
• We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
